If you are driving please park in the Metro Plaza at the major intersection of Main St. South and Nanwood Dr. Once in the plaza make a left and drive towards the end of the parking lot to enter the park. Arrive 15mins early for registration check in as the walk will promptly start at 11am. After the walk feel free to stay with us and enjoy food, festivities, music for everyone, even the kids. HS is a debilitating and painful chronic skin disease that currently does not have a cure. A formal diagnosis of this disease takes an average of 7years due to lack of knowledge and misdiagnosis which results in a high rate of depression and anxiety among the patients. Puberty is the onset of HS however recent research has indicated that HS is beginning to develop in children. 4% Canadians are affected by HS however, due to the lack the proper treatment in a timely manner one's quality of life is deeply affected.

Hidradenitis and Me Support Group is a non-profit organization that provides a safe space for those who are living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). Our organization facilitates monthly support groups that focus on mental health and self-care with an objective to encourage others to live and enjoy life the best way they can, despite HS challenges.
