About this event

Have your say on the future of places and spaces in Oaklands!

The City of Victoria is updating the Official Community Plan (OCP) for Victoria to meet the needs of our growing population and address the housing and climate crises. The OCP will incorporate directions and plans from recent neighbourhood plans into the proposed update to ensure each area of Victoria can grow and maintain its special charm while still aligning with the OCP framework.

Oaklands does not have a recent neighbourhood plan. Join the Ideas Workshop and help shape how this area can grow and change into the future.

Children are welcome and lunch will be included. The workshop is open to anyone who lives, works, plays, or has a keen interest in the future of the area.

  • How can a redevelopment at Hillside Shopping Centre contribute to connectivity, green space, community gathering, amenities and housing diversity?
