About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Social change organizations are passionate and committed to fulfilling their mission and making positive change in their communities with their audiences and partners.

Impact measurement is a powerful process for these organizations to get clear about the outcomes their programs and strategies are having, whether they are effective and how they might need to be adapted. Impact measurement is not just about proving impact, but also about improving impact through nurturing a data-driven and evidence-informed culture that promotes results, learning and ongoing improvement.

However, building capacity and a culture for carrying out impact measurement work is sometimes daunting and intimidating. Where should we start? Who should be involved? What should we expect?

We will share….

● An introduction to key concepts, tools, issues and challenges in impact measurement

● Strategies we are testing to coach nfps in strengthening their impact measurement approaches and capacity

● Themes and lessons bubbling up from our pan Canadian community of practices of impact measurement coaches through the Innoweave platform

And then dive into a discussion about what is working in impact measurement in your organization, where are the opportunities, where are the barriers, what do we all need to support each other to deepen our collective efforts in measuring our impact?
