Played in communities around the world, the sport of hockey is often closely associated with Canada. Those who grow and live here know that it?s nearly impossible to avoid its popularity, from local ice sheets to the professional leagues. But did you know that Indigenous peoples and communities have been closely involved with this game throughout its history? Stephane Friday, Co-Founder, President and CEO of Hockey Indigenous will share stories about the past and present of Indigenous Hockey, including key figures, in addition to a vision for the future.
