L'atelier aborde deux thèmes : la création d'un rapport avec le public lorsque vous entrez en scène et la résolution de problèmes comme méthode de création de matériel pour la performance. Nous explorerons les moyens de générer du matériel pour trouver un personnage. L'accent est mis sur l'activation de l'état émotif du public et sur l'aide apportée à l'acteur pour qu'il soit toujours intéressé plutôt qu'intéressant.

The workshop addresses two areas: creating rapport with the audience as you enter the stage, and problem-solving as a method of creating material for performance. After this introduction, we will explore ways of creating material and finding character. The focus is on activating the internal emotional state of the audience and helping the actor to always be interested rather than interesting.

Avner est l'un des meilleurs professeurs de comédie physique au monde. Il fait partie de la faculté permanente du Celebration Barn Theater, l'école internationale des arts du spectacle du Maine. Il a donné des ateliers sur le spectacle excentrique et les clowns aux États-Unis, en Suisse, en France, en Allemagne, en Finlande, en Espagne, au Mexique et au Japon. Avner est diplômé de l'École Jacques Lecoq à Paris. Vous le reconnaîtrez peut-être comme le rôle titre du film Le Joyau du Nil. Avner joue son one-man-show, Exceptions à la gravité, depuis plus de 30 ans.

Cet atelier intrigant permettra aux participants d'acquérir des bases solides en matière de techniques de comédie physique. Pour les professionnels, il s'agit d'une occasion unique de jeter un regard neuf sur de vieilles habitudes et d'affiner des compétences avancées.

Avner is one of the world’s leading teachers of physical comedy. He is on the permanent faculty of the Celebration Barn Theater, Maine’s International School for the Performing Arts. He has taught Eccentric Performing and Clown workshops in the US, Switzerland, France, Germany, Finland, Spain, Mexico, and Japan. Avner graduated from École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. You may even recognize him as the Jewel from the movie, The Jewel of the Nile. Avner has been performing his one-man show, Exceptions to Gravity, for over 30 years.

This intriguing workshop will give participants a firm grounding in physical comedy techniques. For the working professional, this is a unique opportunity to take a fresh look at old habits and hone advanced skills.
