VIOLINIST IOAN HAREA, pianist Frederic Lacroix and guitarist Andrew Mah invite you on a journey to SPAIN. Let the music of Sarasate, De Falla, Rodrigo, Lalo, Granados and Chick Correa transport you to the land of cava, rioja, flamenco, snowy mountains and sunny beaches.

This Classical violin recital will last about 90 minutes with an intermission and appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Families and children are welcome.

Fresh artisan bread from our sponsor NAT’S BREAD COMPANY will be available for sale before the performance and during the "meet the artists" reception which follows the concert.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park?

Glebe St. James United Church does not have a parking lot but there is plenty of parking on the neighbouring streets. And it is FREE!

Is there public transit nearby?

Glebe St. James United Church is on the corner of Lyon St South and First Ave. It is one block west of Bank St. There are many buses running on Bank St. Check the OCTranspo app for schedules and a bus convenient for you.

Which door do I use to enter the church?

Enter the church using the yellow door at the top of the stairs. This door faces on First Ave and is the closest to the corner of First and Lyon. For handicapped access, use the Lyon St door.

What time do the doors open for the concert?

Doors open at 7 pm. The concert begins at 7:30.

What if I arrive late?

Latecomers can watch and listen while standing in the church foyer. They will be seated at an appropriate break between pieces. This should happen at intervals of approx 6-8 minutes.

Will beverages be sold at the Intermission?

No. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle.

How do I pay for tickets at the door and for NBC bread?

We accept cash and credit cards. We use Square readers.
