Please bring a bag lunch. Coffee and Tea will be provided. We will gather in St. Peter's Erindale in Mississauga. The day will begin at 9:30am with the first 30 minutes to check - in.

This day will include practicing anointing and presentations on the history and theology of anointing and healing, boundaries and confidentiality, supervision, prayerful support, plus practical learning on the care and keeping of oil and oil stocks. Questions are very welcome. This day is part of your discernment to be a Lay Anointer.

The Bishop's Committee on Healing Ministries provides for coordination and collaboration for the Healing Ministries of the Diocese of Toronto. The Healing ministries represented on the committee include, but are not limited to, Lay Anointers, Parish Nurses, Lay Pastoral Visitors, Seniors Ministry, lay and ordained Healthcare Chaplains. The committee is a resource for the communities and people of the diocese and also promotes the networking of resources. The committee supports, develops, coordinates and presents educational materials, events and retreats.
