Join Calgarian author Sophie Torro as she shares her exciting journey as a young writer, turning her school-time scribbles into stories enjoyed by readers throughout the world. Included in her presentation are tips for young writers (and writers young at heart) to bring their storytelling dreams to life.

Recommended for grades 3–6.

Sophie Torro began writing at the age of eleven and published her first novel at fifteen years old. Since then, she has published more than three series and a dozen novels, with many more in production. She has also written five travel articles for TraveLife Magazine. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys drawing, crocheting, and tending to her assortment of houseplants.
