Ləléʔnəŋ Listening-With: Closing Gathering and Potluck
Deepening Relations and Community around Listening and Sounding
Everyone is welcome to the final open gathering of the Ləléʔnə Listening-With project, a six-week series of workshops, conversations, and outdoor events that gives space and time for asking how our personal, ancestral, and professional experiences and realities affect how we listen, and how we sound, specifically within the territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples.
Ləléʔnə Listening-With recognizes that artists and all community members have work to do with respect to the climate emergency, social justice, and a meaningful commitment to respectful relations with the original peoples of these lands.
In this closing gathering, everyone who has been involved in the project is invited to share insights, ideas, practices, sounds, scores, and possible new ways of working toward change and reconnection to ourselves and these lands through listening and soundmaking.
