Description: This wellness workshop will consist of a day at LAC to learn about tools for our own personal needs and goals and learn about glimmers. Glimmers are moments of joy that can bring us peace. We will learn about the foundations of wellbeing and healthy living, enjoy the natural environment of LAC and its gallery - then dive into a collage to develop our own gentle goals and finding “glimmers “ in our day and our life and in our futures…. No artistic experience is necessary - just a desire to maximize joy!

Audience: 18 + (all experience levels welcome)

Instructor Biography: Through her own health journey , Julia Davies Dawson has become enthusiastic about wellbeing having recently studied in the areas of Nutrition and Health Living , Plant Based Nutrition, and Wellness Counselling. She trained a BSc in Social Research Methods and Sociology . Her training includes medical technology nd not for profit management. Julia is a small business owner who volunteers, has a love of the the outdoors in all seasons, with her creative pursuits including growing vegetables , mediterranean lifestyle home cooking for self, family and friends , and making collage and vision boards .


Cancellation/Refund Policy: Please note there is a NO REFUND policy on all Leighton Art Centre workshops. A refund will only be issued to participants if the workshop is cancelled by the workshop coordinator due to insufficient enrollment, extreme weather conditions, or COVID-19 restrictions. Workshops may be cancelled prior to the start date and participants will be notified via email and/or phone, and a full refund will be processed.
