Learn how to create a story children will love

Writing for children is a fun and rewarding experience but it does come with its unique challenges. During this master class, we will work on locking down the: Why, the Who, and the How (so that we can navigate those challenges with ease.)

Whether you already have a story in mind or have always dreamt about writing a children's book, this class is for you.

We will be diving into, “why” we want to write for children, “who” our target audience is, and How to create a story that they will love. This is a safe space to explore thoughts, and ideas and get some helpful and actionable advice so you can move forward with confidence. I consider it a true privilege to write for young readers and strongly believe that when we have a firm understanding of our own “why, who, & how” we can create stories that will become a cherished memory for a child.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Jen is a children’s book author, Mom of 4, wife, and believer in dreaming big and being kind. She lives in Southwestern Ontario with her family and quirky black lab named Lucy. Jen considers it a privilege to have her books invited into others' homes and takes great pride in the stories she tells.

“In a world where you can have anything instantly, I am thrilled when families slow down and take time to read and connect through a book. There is beauty in the simplicity of bedtime stories.”
