PAM presents Mastering Oils with displaying artist Michael Atkins.
Michael is going to simplify the outdoor painting experience through his "hands on" crash course covering all the basics of oil colour mixing for the beginner who is wanting to get outdoors and start painting.
Michael explains and demonstrates and has you repeat everything yourself in oil paints using his very limited pallet of colours giving tips to create depth, perspective, light and interest.
This workshop takes place at the Arts Market, it is not outdoors.
The following is provided in the workshop:
all the oil paints needed, odorless Gamsol for brush cleaning, disposable paper pallet pad, metal pallet knife, No. 6 bristle Filbert brush, rags, rubber gloves, greyscale chart, cardboard mounting work surface used in workshop and to get work home safely.
