What to expect during your Academic Orientation?

Academic Orientation is a first-day experience to familiarize yourself with your campus, peers, and to say thank you for choosing Georgian. We can't wait to welcome you into the Georgian Community!

Academic Orientation schedule (located in the Gym)

Begins 9:00 a.m. Check-in, activities & campus tours (all day)

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pizza Lunch

1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wrap-up

Activities happening throughout this time include:

• Selfie station
• GCSA Game-time activities
• Games with athletics team
• Peer mentors jenga
• Community vendor tables
• UN SDG Corner
• Breakout sessions for your program (see below for schedule!)

Drop-In Activities

Drop-in activities are happening throughout campus involving various Georgian departments. Activities occur across campus in the GCSA Lounge in C Building (Student Clubs located) and in front of the Library (Department activities). A full schedule of activities is available on MyGCLife.
