This presentation is recommended for history buffs. Come and enjoy an evening of thought-provoking information and fine musical entertainment. The Saskatoon and District Labour Council presents the annual MAY DAY CELEBRATION. The evening will include an information-packed multimedia presentation on the origins of May Day given by St. Thomas Moore College political science professor Charles Smith. The evening’s program also incorporates performances from two of Saskatoon’s premiere performers Carla Carignan and Phil Miller. Proceeds from this event will help fund the SDLC Summer Snack program which provides children a nutritious meal during that part of year when school is on summer break.
