Métis culture can often be absent in childcare settings due to a lack of knowledge about Métis tradition, food, history and language. As well, some childcare providers do not have access to teaching tools that will help them explain Métis culture to the children in their care.
Join Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) at this complimentary conference on Friday, September 22nd and Saturday, September 23rd at the Meadow Lake Civic Centre where we will be bringing together childcare providers to learn about Métis culture in an early learning framework.
Each participant will be provided with a complimentary resource box to help bring Métis culture alive at your childcare centre, daycare or dayhome.
During the conference you will also be able to shop at the Mini Métis Marketplace, a showcase of Métis arts and crafts available for purchase. To become a vendor visit https://minimetismarketplacemeadowlake.eventbrite.ca
