About this event

Join us on February 13th, 2024 for a full-day, in-person knowledge exchange that aims to bring together leaders, researchers, funders and service providers from immigrant and refugee serving organizations, as well as the health and mental health sectors. We aim to foster cross-sectoral knowledge sharing, and collaborate on how to build organizational capacity to meet the mental health needs of both clients and staff within our communities.

Key Objectives:

  • Explore lessons learned from the OCASI Mental Health Promotion Integrated Service Model.
  • Collaborate on strategies to enhance organizational capacity to be responsive to mental health needs.
  • Promote cross-sectoral collaboration between settlement, health, and mental health sectors.
  • Engage in discussions and plan for the future of mental health promotion within the immigrant and refugee serving sector.
