Mivule

Hailing from Vancouver, BC, Mivule is heading East this June for their first tour in Ontario/Quebec. June 11th at the Painted Lady is their first date, and they can't wait to get Toronto dancing with Afro Reggae and Dub sounds.

Mivule is a 4-piece band incorporating the sounds of Reggae, Afrobeat and Dub, with lyrics in English and various African languages. The band's songs draw heavily on the experiences of Brian, lead singer and South Sudanese refugee. The name comes from the African Mvule Tree, a meeting place.
