About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Through this 3-part learning experience called an Mpact, participants will be actively building their capacity to support a variety of learners in their destreamed Science classrooms.

There will be opportunities to share learning, deepen understanding, and co-construct universally designed resources to support learners.

These sessions require active engagement where participants commit to trying out new ideas and sharing outcomes.

Each session provides opportunities to refine your practice and collaborate with other educators in a supportive environment to positively impact the teaching and learning cycle in your program. We will build from where you are!

Session 1: Interleaving and Spiralling Oct 9th 7:30-9:00 pm EST

Session 3 Inquiry Practices Dec 13th, 7:30-9:00 pm EST

Note:

The activities in this Mpact will focus on the SNC1W curriculum since the new SNC2W curriculum has not been published. However, all strategies are applicable to grade 10 and if participants prefer to use this curriculum when they are participating, they are free to do so.
