Lobe Studio invites you to join us for a special sound piece composed for Deaf and HoH audiences through a project supported by Strathcona Spatial Sound Society and The James Black Gallery. This program is 35~ minutes long. Guests are encouraged to watch the video below about Silas Ng’s project before attending.

Tickets for this event are by RSVP (free) or by donation. Any donations made to the studio by attendees will go directly to supporting the creation of more artistic work with tactile sound.

Touching Unseen Sound (35 minutes)

Silas Ng

Featuring the work of Silas Ng, in collaboration with Edo Van Breemen, Jami Reimer, Sean Evans and Alex Penney, Touching Unseen Sound is an immersive vibrational experience created for Deaf & Hard of Hearing audiences, and to which all hearing abilities are welcome. This composition was created during a two-week residency at Lobe Studio.
