About this event

The North York Central Library and its neighbourhood is home to a variety of trees. Join City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff to explore the natural world on a local neighbourhood walk. Learn how to recognize different species and fun facts about their cultural and ecological importance.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.

Please note, the tour will start and end at the North York Central Library. The City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff will take participants outside and around the neighbourhood where there may be uneven, unpaved surfaces will guide attendees. Please dress and prepare accordingly for this outdoor program (e.g. hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes).

Registration is required. This program takes place rain or shine. In the event of severe inclement weather, you will be notified of an alternative date. For more information, contact the 4th floor Business, Science & Technology desk at 416-395-5613.
