This year’s theme is "Financing Your Film”!

Join us for our Industry Summit in downtown Oakville! Kickstarting on Thursday, June 20th at noon, we're hosting an introductory networking brunch, sponsored by Staples, for filmmakers to connect. Then, dive into a full day of professional development on Friday, June 21st, held at the scenic Oakville Powerboat Club.

Get ready for four engaging panels led by industry veterans, focusing on financing and filmmaking for emerging and intermediate-level filmmakers. This day-long event is entirely free for filmmakers participating in the summit, including breakfast and lunch. Afterward, unwind with drinks and a barbecue on the patio, offering views of the river and marina.

As a bonus, all participants receive a ticket to Friday's Canadian GALA in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day. Don't miss out on this enriching experience!

THE OAKVILLE FILM FESTIVAL RUNS JUNE 19 - 25th 2024

New for 2024, the festival launches with a FREE family friendly event and outdoor screening in Towne Square, Oakville

Wednesday 19th June 6 pm – 11 pm. OFFA is working with Film.Ca Cinemas, Active Parents, Have More Fun, CHCH, and The True Inclusion Foundation of Canada to help create a fun, exciting and inclusive atmosphere for families before and during the screening.

Thursday and Friday Night Galas (Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts)

Thursday 20 June EY GALA, and Friday Night 21 June National Indigenous People’s Day GALA!

OFFA has two Premiere Red Carpet Galas, the EY GALA and After Party on Thursday 20 June, and a National Indigenous Peoples Day Canadian film gala on Friday 21 June, which includes a cocktail pre-party for VIP pass purchasers. If you purchase your VIP Red Carpet Pass now you are guaranteed VIP seating and a spot at both screenings and both parties.

Film.ca Cinemas Saturday and Sunday June 22-23rd

The festival continues into the weekend, 22 and 23 June, with film screenings all weekend long at our Event Partner, Film.Ca Cinemas in Oakville. Over 50 feature films, documentaries, short films, and web series will be screened from 11 am to 11 pm each day.

VENUES

Festival venues include OFFA Event Partner, Film.Ca cinemas, and the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. The Industry Summit will be held at the Oakville Power Boat Club, which is walking distance from the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. Film.Ca Cinemas will have two theatres showing films all day long 22-23 June.
