About the Organizer - Okanagan Psychedelic Society:
The Okanagan Psychedelic Society is dedicated to fostering a grassroots presence and building a network for individuals who value or want to know more about psychedelics and entheogens. Through events like this one, casual monthly gatherings, book clubs, and more, we aim to provide a platform for open discussion, education, and community building around psychedelic topics.

What to Expect:

  • Insightful Discussion: Engage in a thought-provoking conversation about cannabis - from the endocannabinoid system to clinical application - featuring Dr. Kathleen Scullion & Selena Wong.
  • Dr. Kathleen Scullion completed her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary where she performed novel investigations into the effects of stress and cannabinoids on movement representations in the brain.
  • Selena Wong is a medical cannabis wellness advisor and educator at Flower of Life Integrative Health.
  • Q&A Session: Have your burning questions about cannabis answered during a dedicated Q&A session.

This event welcomes individuals from all backgrounds who are interested in learning more about cannabis, how it works in the brain, and its potential benefits. Whether you're curious about this topic or already well-versed in the current science, we believe you will find value in this event.

The event will take place in room ASC room 140 (Arts & Science Centre) at The University of British Columbia - Okanagan Campus, located in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Please look for signs with OkPS logo and arrows directing you to the building.
