About this event
Canada's longest-running community reading program celebrates its 21st year with Eden Robinson's Son of a Trickster
The first book in the brilliant and captivating Trickster Trilogy, Son of a Trickster is a striking and precise coming-of-age novel, in which everyday teen existence meets Indigenous beliefs, crazy family dynamics and cannibalistic river otters.
Eden Robinson will be in conversation with Dr. Savage Bear.
Please note: This is an in-person event taking place in the theatre at our Central Library location (85 Queen St. N.). Doors open at 6:30pm .
Copies of Eden's books will be available for sale courtesy of Indigo Kitchener. Book signing to follow.
Unable to attend in-person? This event will also be live streamed. To access the live stream, please register HERE

About the Author
EDEN ROBINSON has matriarchal tendencies. Doesn’t have a pressure cooker, but knows how to jar salmon. Her smoked salmon will not likely kill you. Hobbies: Shopping for the Apocalypse, using vocabulary as a weapon, nominating cousins to council while they’re out of town, chair yoga, looking up possible diseases or syndromes on the interwebs, perfecting gluten-free bannock and playing Mah-jong. Be warned, she writes novels and tends to be cranky when interrupted.
