Welcome to The Roller Jungle! Funk around and find out what it’s all about.

Let your inner wild child out and come roll with us. Work on your skills, get to know other skaters in The Roller Jungle, and have fun! All ages and all levels of experience are welcome to drop-in.

Open Skate sessions will be held from 3- 5PM and until 8PM on April 12 and April 26. It is $10 per person with a free skate rental.

Following your registration, you will be sent an email containing a waiver form. This waiver form must be signed and provided to the instructor to participate in the classes.


The Roller Jungle can be found at Contemporary Calgary, our official Venue Partner. Contemporary Calgary provides Calgary and its visitors with a significant visual arts destination dedicated to modern and contemporary art.

About the instructor

Livvy Skates (she/her) is a thrill-seeking, fun-loving, music-bumping roller skater based in Mohkinstsis. Her passion to roll has taken her across Canada, the US, and to London and Scotland where she was able to train with master skaters. She hopes to create a skate army of BIPOC folk on wheels.
