Free Open Workshops

damaAs part of Tin Gamboa's residency at New Works, Tin invites you to four free, open workshops on a voice and movement practice called dama, which in tagalog means 'to sense.' In this practice, we will tune into our breath and impulse via movement and sound, while exploring our pulse as a group.

These workshops are non-cumulative and there is no prior movement or voice training required. One of the draws for Tin is to see how dama would function as a collective community practice, so you are welcome to attend as many of these workshops as you'd like.

Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm (duration of the workshop: 2.5 Hours)

Doors open at: 9:15 am.

The workshop begins at 9:30 am. No Latecomers. Adults only.
