Play Nice and Mountain Dog Crew present PAWS & PASTIES!

This Sunday afternoon patio party is for dog lovers, burlesque fans, and everything in between! Whether you find yourself spending half of your paycheque on dogsitters, or longingly dog watching at Trout Lake on a nightly basis, this event is for YOU!

We will be taking donations for Community Veterinary Outreach: if you have the means to, they are always looking for pet food (dog and cat, unopened) as well as items such as leashes, collars, toys, etc. They also accept donations for people - things like toothbrushes, socks, personal hygiene products, etc. CVO’s mandate is to improve the health of homeless and vulnerably housed communities through veterinary care to their pets, and to connect their humans with health and social services.

TICKET TYPES:

🙋🏼‍♀️+🐶HUMAN & DOG - This is for anyone who wants to bring their dog as a + one. There will be a limit on the number of dogs allowed at the event so make sure to select this if you want to bring Fido with you! This ticket is valid for 1 dog and 1 person only - $35

🙋🏽HUMAN ONLY - Leaving your furry friend at home? Don’t have a dog but are constantly craving canine affection? Simply want to catch a top-tier burlesque show in the sun? This one's for you! - $30

🙋🏿‍♀️+🦮HUMAN & SERVICE DOG - If you require the assistance of a service dog, your dog may of course enter for free! Please purchase a HUMAN ONLY ticket and notify us via email at playniceburelsque@gmail.com so that we can keep track of our pup count - $30

Oppressive attitudes and behavior -- including but not limited to misogyny, transphobia, racism, fatphobia, cultural appropriation and ableism -- are not welcome here - No jerks allowed. We acknowledge that we are operating this event in a Queer space – this space is for allies and 2SLGBTQIA+ community & will not tolerate any hateful speech or actions towards the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Any such behavior will be cause for immediate dismissal from the event.

The event will occur RAIN OR SHINE! We have a back-up plan to move the venue indoors if needed.

NO TICKET REFUNDS. No exceptions, however you are welcome to give away or resell your ticket to another person if you are no longer able to attend.

🐶TERMS & CONDITIONS: DOGS

For the safety of all guests, dogs, performers and staff we ask that you keep your dog under control at all times. A team of dog walkers will be part of the event to make sure everyone is having fun and respecting the rules.

Requirements for dogs to attend the event:
- No excessive barking
- Well socialized with both dogs and humans
- Up-to-date on vaccinations
- *This event is not suitable for reactive dogs*

If at any point a dog is being disruptive and puts the safety of other guests, dogs, performers, or staff at risk, our team reserves the right to ask you to leave the event. No refunds will be given.

ACCESSIBILITY:

Access in ground level and flat - wheelchair accessible entrance/exit (double doors 70 in. wide, single door is 35 in). There are no stairs or steps throughout the venue. All washrooms are all genders. The door opens outwards from the washroom. Seating available - please feel free to ask security or door staff if you ever require a seat and would like staff assistance in finding a seat. More info at bit.ly/birdhouse-accessibility
