HOW THIS EVENT WORKS

Come enjoy the evening and pick your flowers, take photos, and enjoy nature. Or choose to enjoy a picnic with our new picnic bundles! When you get here you will be shown where to fill your bucket with water and be shown the best way to pick flowers. Our flowers will bloom until the first frost so you can come back again and again for bouquets to decorate your home.

This event is BYOC (Bring your own container to take your blooms home!)

This event fully relies on cooperation from nature, in the event that our blooms aren't ready or are damaged, we will work as best we can to switch you to a different time that works for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my dog?

For the safety of our free-range livestock and geese and the protective nature of our livestock guardian dogs we cannot allow animals from outside the farm to visit. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I bring my own food?

By purchasing a picnic box, you are not only ensuring a delightful and convenient experience but also contributing to our mission of sustainability and supporting the farm's operations. For the general safety of our farm and animals, we kindly ask that guests do not bring their own food.

How will I bring the flowers home?

We encourage you to bring a water-tight container to bring your blooms home. Milk jugs with the top cut-off, or home depot buckets work great! We do not have vases or containers to give on site.

Can I bring someone just to take photos, and not pick?

By purchasing a ticket you are contributing to our mission of regenerative farming and sustainability. For the safety of our farm, and staff we require a purchased ticket for entry to the farm.

Can I feed the animals?

Our animals are fed very specific organic diets and therefore cannot have any human food under any circumstances. It can make them very sick. This includes dog biscuits. Zeus had to have stomach surgery due to food sensitives so we are extremely cautious.

Is there a public washroom?

We do have a public bathroom. It is not wheelchair accessible. We are on a septic system so please do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper.

Is the farm wheelchair friendly?

Our farm has been approved as wheelchair friendly, however there are many uneven surfaces throughout the farm.

Can I bring alchohol to the farm?

In most cases you cannot, however if you are planning an event there are special permits that will allow it. If you are unsure or would like to get a permit please speak to the farm owner first.

Are you child friendly?

As we are a working farm, supervised children are always welcome when we are open and during family-friendly events. Families with children 12 and up are always welcome for B&B stays.

Do you have a petting zoo?

We do not have an area for children to go in with our animals. We do have our farm dogs, cats and many bantam chickens that run free on our property, however they liked to be viewed not touched.

Are the dogs friendly?

Yes. Our dogs are great with humans and Zeus is known to lean up against our visitors for cuddles. They are not allowed in the suites no matter what good company they are.
