Strut it out, walk a mile. Serve it, classic Ballroom-style! FUNCTION invites you to battle for your life at this year’s Platinum Pride Ball, an annual ball celebrating the world’s most decorated music icons. For our second edition, we’re paying tribute to Mother Monster herself, fashion mover and shaker, acclaimed actress, and long-time supporter of the queer community, Lady Gaga—featuring Icon Precious Old Navy (Philadelphia, PA) and Legendary Bambam Siriano on the mic, DJ Karim Olen Ash, and guest judge Icon Ricky Allure (New York City, NY).

About us:

FUNCTION is a platform for Ballroom-first culture, stories, and events, based in Toronto. Through our work, we focus on uplifting BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ voices and highlighting Canadian Ballroom talent. Since our launch in early 2022, we’ve welcomed over 3200 attendees, distributed over $140,000 directly to BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ artists and participants, and handed out 600+ HIV self-testing kits and thousands of other harm reduction supplies to community members, leaning on expert nonprofit organizations.
