Michelle Reid is an award winning Canadian artist who has quickly become recognized for her unique abstract-impressionism. Her contemporary landscape paintings in oil are distinct, vibrant, and full of hope. Elements that were evident to the judges who selected her frist place of Rideau Artist of the Year 2022, and place in Kingsville for the Great Migration Paint Out 2023.

Painting outdoors is a great way to grow your skill and enables you to create some very spirited works as you race against the changing light to capture your subject in tonal qualities, colour, loose brushwork, and softness of form. She will guide you through the process to improving your practice.

Painters will bring their own supplies and paint in their preferred mediums. We will aim to tackle 2 paintings per day at diffrent inspiring locations around Kingston.

Demos, coaching, and group critiques.

Bring a packed lunch.

Weather is always a factor so dress for anything and locations will be selected as the forecast dictates if we need to seek shelter or bask in the scorching sun. All part of the adventure!
