What is a Psychic Fair?

It's an event where several readers come together in the same space and offer readings. This is a great way to get some face-time with a reader you've perhaps only worked with online or over the phone, or to meet someone new!

What kind of reading(s) can I get?

Each reader has different offerings. Their profiles include the Modalities they use. But contact each reader to ask for details about length and prices.

What's a Modality?

"Modality" refers to the tool or method of reading. So Tarot is one modality, and Scrying is another. It may or may not involve physical tools. Some modalities work better for certain types of questions or readings than others. And even if two readers practice the same modality, each person approach

How do I find out which readers will be attending?

Do I have to book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

It's not required, no. But if there is someone you ABSOLUTELY want to see, and/or a specific time you'd like a reading, I'd recommend getting in touch with the reader(s) to book. We can't guarantee that readers will have walk-in availability at the time you want on the day of the Fair.

How do I book an appointment?

Each reader's contact information will be posted above. This can include email addresses, Facebook pages and other social media handles, and websites, but not everyone has everything. Reach out to your chosen reader to inquire about their availability during the Fair.

How do I pay for my reading?

Accepted Answer

Each reader is in charge of their own appointments, so that means you'll pay them directly. If you book an appointment ahead of time, the reader may allow you to pay ahead of time. If you're coming for a walk-in reading, please ask beforehand if the reader accepts your form of payment.

I can't see your sign/I'm at the building with the blue awnings, but no one's inside!

We've moved, and we haven't had a chance to get a proper sign on the building yet.  We're the brick unit on the corner, next to Crave Cupcakes. If you're at the building with the awnings, head east half a block, then go half a block north, and you'll find us.

What's the parking situation?

There's FREE 90-MINUTE parking in the lot in front of (and behind) Where Faeries Live!

And what if I don't drive?

We're about two blocks south of Whyte Ave, and there are several bus routes that service this area. Get off near 104th street and 82nd ave, follow the flow of traffic south on 104th street, and you'll find us on the left-hand side!

I signed up for an available walk-in spot, but it's in a few hours. Do I have to stay in the store?

Nope! As long as you're back in time for your reading, you can go get something to eat, hang around on Whyte, or whatever else until then. Please note: If you show up more than 5mins late, the reader may decide to read for someone else instead.
