PUBLIC SPEAKING THROUGH COMEDY COURSE (LEVEL 3)

Purpose of the workshop is to take your public speaking & comedy skills to the top level, where your material will now come from a very personal side. This level is designed to drive students through catharsis: you will cry, laugh, grow, share and face some of your biggest fears!

You might as well call this Personal growth through Comedy.

You will learn how to:

• Find your voice
• Heal through comedy
• Write comedy with a "message"
• Apply the top 5 comedy tools to any speech
• ...and more!

*****PRE-REQUISITE FOR LEVEL 3: Completion of Level 2.******

Investment: $550 incl. HST

Length: 7 weeks including Grad Show (8 sessions*)

*Includes 1 one-on-one private session with customized feedback. You will also receive constructive, private feedback throughout the entire course.

Time: Wednesdays |6:30pm to 9:30pm (Toronto - EST Time)

Class Size: Max 12 students, to ensure personalized attention.

Grad Show: On the 7th week there will be an online Grad Night where each student will perform a 7 minute set before an audience of friends and family.

• I don't want to do the Grad Show. Do I have to?

A: We can't force you :) However, the entire syllabus builds on concepts that you will put into practice on Grad Night. Our advice is join the workshop and you can decide later. Hundreds of students joined the workshop with fear of public speaking and overcame it on Grad Night!

• I'm not funny. I don't know any jokes. Why would I join a course that includes stand up comedy?

A: It's a public speaking through comedy course. We will teach you the science behind communicating effectively and making people laugh. This will enable you to connect with an audience and become a funny, confident speaking machine who will kill every speech opportunity from now on!
