From the creator of iDRUM, the first name in live drumming/instrumentation and DJ culture since the year 2000. dConcept has been pushing the envelope again with 90's inspired, brand new deep house and live Afro-Caribbean drumming early evening. A B4hrs event, sponsored by culture hubs Play De Record & African Drums & Art Crafts. The series will be performed at Handlebar, a legendary venue within the iconic neighbourhood of Kensington Market. On June 1st we dance to the sound of now inspired by then with dConcept RED, playing mostly fairly-new music reminiscent of the Toronto’s Warehouse Renaissance Period of Deep House Music, with live Afro-percussion.
