Key Essentials: The Convention on the Rights of the Child, Sustainable Development and the Law

This online short course introduces learners to pressing human rights challenges; explores the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the tools it offers for policy and law makers; identifies and analyses innovative domestic legal and policy solutions; prepares learners to strengthen the role of law and policy in monitoring and reporting; and inspires learners to advance their global careers in sustainability and justice.

This course provides eight to ten hours of total learning time, with five focused, intensive modules of instruction from leading University of Cambridge and global experts, live classroom engagements, access to leading materials and several hours of independent, self-paced work.

The course is largely self-paced and learners complete the course at their convenience between 17 June - 30 June 2024.

Upon successful completion of the course, learners are eligible for a certificate from leading expert institutes of the University of Cambridge and global partners. Learners also access global sustainability careers mentorship, community of practice, networking and other benefits.
