Retired Sgt Major Sebastien Lavoie is a respected performance coach, mindset, and security expert with a robust background in peak performance and crisis management. With over twenty years of service in high-stakes roles within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Canadian Armed Forces, his expertise is highly valued across various sectors.

Sebastien’s law enforcement and military career spanned several key positions including General Duty, "Air Marshall" for the Canadian Air Carrier Protective Program, Emergency Response Team (SWAT) Operator, Team Leader, and Chief Warrant Officer. His broad experience has sharpened his skills in crisis management, emergency response, risk assessment, and wellness strategies. He has effectively translated these skills into coaching, where he helps individuals and organizations achieve top performance levels.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Sebastien is an avid martial artist and fitness enthusiast. He holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and founded both Sheepdog and Dogs den CrossFit. As a co-owner and instructor at Ascension Martial Arts, he imparts his deep knowledge and enthusiasm for martial arts. Sebastien is also a frequent guest and motivational speaker on numerous podcasts, including Be Effective, Building the Elite, Behind the Shield, The Silvercore Podcasts, and He Cast, and contributes regularly to the Collective YouTube channel. Committed to continuous personal and professional growth, Sebastien is currently advancing his education with a master’s degree in Global Counterterrorism, following a commendable 20-year tenure in the RCMP, where he retired as BC Divisional Sergeant Major in 2021.
