Overview

Saggi Phul: A queer South Asian Holi celebration of color, drag and dance. Desi beats, radiant queers, and joy in full bloom.

~SAGGI PHUL~

A Queer South Asian Holi Dance Party & Drag Show✨🌺🏵️💛

Saggi Phul takes its name from the traditional Punjabi floral headpiece, worn during moments of celebration, beauty, and cultural pride. In the spirit of Holi — the Indian festival of colour, love, and renewal — this night crowns queerness, ancestry, and self-expression in full bloom.

This year’s edition embraces a White Party theme, inviting guests to arrive dressed in all white — a living canvas awaiting colour, expression, and transformation throughout the night. Rooted in South Asian tradition and reimagined through a queer lens, Saggi Phul is a space for queer, trans, and gender-expansive South Asians and our chosen family to take up space unapologetically.

Expect a high-energy dance floor powered by Bollywood, Punjabi, South Asian club sounds, and global queer anthems, alongside bold drag performances featuring South Asian talent that blur gender, honour lineage, and revel in glamour and excess.

Like Holi itself, this is a ritual of release — shedding the old, embracing play, and celebrating love in all its forms. Come as you are, come ready to move, and come prepared to be seen, celebrated, and crowned.

This event is being held on the stolen, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, and Tsleil-Waututh nations. As we live and organise queer space as settlers on these lands, we have an obligation to continuously work to repair harms perpetrated upon Indigenous communities, presently and historically.
