Shoresh's Lag BaOmer Celebration

Come join us for a day of fun and festivities at Bela Farm! Our Lag BaOmer Celebration will feature fire, field games and exploring the land. Bring your family and friends for a day of community and celebration.

Transportation


Bela Farm, located in Hillsburgh, Ontario, is fully accessible by car (about 1 hour from Toronto). Attendees are welcome to come by car/your own method of transporation.

Shoresh has limited seats available on a bus, for an additional $25 (available for purchase at checkout).

The bus will make three stops in Toronto on the way to the farm:

  1. Riverdale (St. Matthew's Clubhouse - 450 Broadview Ave, Toronto) - 9am
  2. Leo Baeck Day School (501 Arlington Ave, York) - 9:30am
  3. Sheppard West Station parking lot (415 William R Allen Road) - 10am

On the way back to Toronto from the farm the bus will drop off at these same stops in reverse, arriving at Riverdale between 4:30pm and 5:00pm!

BUS REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY, MAY 23RD AT 11:59pm.

Frequently asked questions

How is Bela Farm accessible physically?

Bela Farm is a working farm. The ground is hilly and can be quite steep. There are picnic tables with fixed benches, and there are benches and chairs inside Beit Shoresh, our shed and gathering space. There is an outhouse on site with one step up and there will be portable toilets for this event.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs can come to Bela Farm *only* under the following conditions: Dog owners must always check with a Shoresh staff person for a brief conversation beforehand. Dogs must be able to handle groups of people in a relaxed and manner, and must be kept on-leash when requested to do so.
