About this event

These FREE accessible yoga classes are great for beginners and those with an established yoga practice. Pre-registration is required due to limited space availability.

This space centers All BLACK women, femmes, and non-binary folks who have been impacted by patriarchy, sexism, and misogyny.

We ask that if you cannot attend a session you let us know as soon as you can so those on the waitlist can be given a space.

Please note that doors are locked after the class start time and due to limitations we are unable to let anyone in late to class.

About Red Ma'at

The Red Ma’at (pronounced ‘Muh-aht’) Collective is a not-for-profit organization based on the foundation of black, indigenous women and gender-expansive folks of colour empowerment serving the Greater Toronto Region. Together as a community, we will build a safe and nourishing environment to work together towards healing and inner peace.

The Red Ma’at Collective offers various community classes/workshops, private yoga classes, therapeutic sessions, and educational anti-oppression workshops and writings that aim to instil compassion through love as we heal together.

The mission of OnePeopleTO (OPTO) is to decolonize mental health and wellness in the Black/African diaspora and beyond by providing an anti-racist, queer-positive, and trauma-informed wellness sanctuary.

We are committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally competent, decolonized wellness and ancestral medicine to those who traditionally experience barriers to opportunities to process, integrate and heal in order to actualize one's innate potential and inspire intrinsic motivation.
