Mark your calendars for Monday, June 10, and join us for the Social Enterprise Final Pitch Competition! Watch five dynamic social enterprises pitch their innovative business ideas to a panel of expert judges and a LIVE audience, all vying for a grand prize of $5,000!

This is a unique chance to share ideas, make meaningful connections, and discover potential collaborations in your community. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages as you connect with fellow changemakers and be part of a night filled with inspiration and excitement.


Presenting social enterprises:

  • Alma Alao: a one-stop shop for international student success in Canada.
  • Dheeraj Bharat Sethi: professional food recovery services that help businesses divert the maximum volume of unsalable food away from waste streams to alternative sources.
  • Emilie Round: a cafe & boutique that empowers locals to create a direct impact in their community with each purchase.
  • Melissa Carriere: a cafe that provides employment training and support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
  • Stacey MacKinnon: empowering girls and young women to begin their life's venture, by providing bursaries, education, and a path so they can reach their dreams.
