    Join us as we work with and explore the rich and beautiful medium of oil paint. During this workshop we will use a light and dark pattern to draw out and paint a flower still life. With nothing digital or photographic you can almost imagine you’re an artist of the past just working from life in a beautiful space!

    You’ll be painting along with Anna Pederson, an artist and art teacher who recently returned from teaching in Niger Africa. She is a student at the Hein Atelier of Traditional Art and has a great enthusiasm for drawing and painting.

    We will focus on drawing, colour mixing, values, and applying paint in a dynamic way.

    All levels of skill are welcome. If you are a beginner you will receive all of the instruction you need to make your painting a success. All of the materials are included. You may want to bring clothing that can get paint on it!
