Join StoryWomen+ for an afternoon concert of stories, music, refreshments, and laughter!

Pianist Valerie Turner will set the tone for each story by playing music from an eclectic selection, which includes Sinatra, Mancini, Debussy, the Everly Brothers, and Sibelius.

Margaret Murphy will share mischief and magic in two stories: one based here in Nanaimo and Vancouver Island, and the other from across the globe in wild and wondrous Kenya.

From an odd decision in a local grocery store to an unusual tea party, Rachel Dunstan Muller’s two stories celebrate the whimsy and wonder of unexpected adventures.

Cindy Shantz’s two personal stories revolve around her first prom, at the age of 17, and swimming with marine life when she was 70+.
