“Discover Tai Chi and Qi Gong: A 7-Week Journey to Wellness”

Embark on a transformative journey with our comprehensive 7-week course introducing Tai Chi and Qi Gong to beginners. Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese martial art and exercise, is renowned for its gentle yet powerful movements that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Over the course, students will learn the short form of the Manchu Wu Style, encompassing the first 36 movements of Tai Chi.

Through dedicated practice, students will experience a myriad of benefits, including improved balance, peaceful sleep, enhanced breathing, and heightened concentration. Tai Chi serves as a powerful tool for stress reduction and mental clarity, fostering a sense of harmony and vitality in practitioners.

In addition to Tai Chi, this course will include instruction in Qi Gong meditation, a practice focused on emptying the mind, improving Qi circulation, and cultivating inner peace. Through Qi Gong, practitioners report significant improvements in overall well-being, sleep quality, and relaxation, as well as heightened presence in the present moment. By integrating Tai Chi and Qi Gong into their lives, individuals can become more well-rounded, relaxed, and affable, ultimately striving towards becoming the best version of themselves.

For those interested in integrative medicine, Tai Chi and Qi Gong are invaluable disciplines. Practitioners of integrative medicine must learn techniques to replenish their Qi, ensuring their own health and vitality as they work with others.

Each class will consist of 1.5 hours of Tai Chi instruction followed by 1.5 hours of Qi Gong practice, providing students with a holistic approach to wellness and self-discovery.

Join us on this enriching journey as we cultivate balance, harmony, and vitality through the practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

Ecole Setsuko is a holistic health education school that offers both workshops for general interest and full certification programs in the field of natural therapy, massage therapy, acupressure and energy work. Located in Montreal, Quebec for our on-site teaching clinics and in person training, while students abroad can access our remote online platforms and receive virtual support.

Our unique approach to learning includes a multidimensional awareness to health, wellness and balance. Each educational component is accompanied by an IN-body, somatic experience. In this way, combining the physical, emotional and energetic/spiritual aspects of our lives encourage harmony and balance. Without this flow, the dis-stress in our lives, can eventually show up as physical pain, emotional unrest, mental instability or a diagnosed dis-ease.

My number one goal is to create awareness for my clients, who is essentially a student of their own life. I have a strong sense of community and family life, always striving to find balance between work/personal/self-care and development. Part of this inspiration comes from my ancestors, who have guided me along this path of service and healing. My teachers are old souls who have a wealth of knowledge and experience and I serve as the bridge between the older and newer generations.
