About this event

Under ther excellent musical direction of Peter Butterfield, and accompanied by Robert Jan Dukarm on the piano, our biggest cast ever is primed to entertain in grand style. When our darling Ruth admits she accidentally apprenticed strapping young Frederic to a "pirate" instead of a "pilot" (being slightly hard of hearing), the fun begins!

The pirates are loveable, the police are hilarious, the bevy of beautiful maidens are slightly silly (except for Mabel, who leads the charge while the police hide), and of course the splendid Pirate King, the dashing Major General, and the booming Police Sergeant will surely impress with show stopping tunes. The exceptionally talented cast is resplendent in Regency era finery, except the police who are somehow rather Victorian .... hmm. Prepare to be smiling for days and humming tunes you'll never forget.
