The Softness of Risk

Witnessing the Victoria CI community grow over the past years has been a delight so we felt that hosting a workshop to meet that growth will bring dancers a broader set of movement skills to bring back to the jamming space.

We'll be focusing on creating a safe connection to explore:

Level changes, falling, flying, opening into back space, using hands as feet, trios as well as more in depth floor patterning.

Finding effortless pathways up and down, leaning into risk, embracing the inevitable collapse and inviting grace are all corridors to a deeper experience of this dance form.
