Set in the late 19th century, these satirical stories pull at the threads of society, decorum, and especially relationships, to reveal the bare crudeness and absurdity of human behaviour that underpins — and undermines — everything we do.
“Nothing can be accomplished by logic and ethics.”
― Anton Chekhov
What you need to know about the show:
The three comedies will be presented in a single act, with no intermission. Runtime is approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes. There will be no concession. Doors open at 7pm - no early entry!
Depending on the weather, the venue may be quite warm. We will have electric fans running, but please consider dressing in light layers if it's a warm day, and possibly bring along a fancy hand fan!
Collins Hall is a wheelchair accessible venue.
Parking in the front lot is limited. We encourage friends and neighbours to carpool, and kindly request that younger, able-bodied audience members consider street parking along Miller Road or Collins Lane to save spaces out front for seniors and persons with mobility issues.
