About this event

Through empathy and support we are able to celebrate the richness and complexity of different parts of our identities. In this overnight retreat we seek to foster an atmosphere where, together, we create an environment that encourages self exploration, develops personal boundaries, empowers us on our individual and collective healing journeys and examines the ways we move through those journeys with intention.

Frequently asked questions

Is transportation provided?

Yes, a bus will be making one stop in Charlottetown, Summerside and Lennox Island.

Can I attend and not stay overnight?

Yes, however, you will need to provide your own transportation home in the evening.

What ages are allowed to attend?

We welcome BIPOC women and gender diverse individuals ages 16 and up, however, younger teens are welcome with a parent or guardian present, as we will be engaging in deep conversations and potentially heavy topics.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

Each room has up to 4 beds including 2 top bunks. While we are trying to have as many people attend as want to be there, we understand that some people will require a room to themselves or will not be able to use a top bunk. There will be an opportunity to let facilitators know preferences and needs

What are some activities that will be taking place?

We will be having Mindfulness, body movement activities, sound therapy, craft activities and many more! ( A Full itinerary will be sent out upon registration)

This is a dry event, meaning, there will be no alcohol served or consumed during the retreat. While we understand that some people use medical marijuana, we ask that you use it respectfully and with those in mind that may be on a journey toward sobriety.

What is the cost of this event?

FREE! There will also be a caregiving (childcare/eldercare/ care for a dependent, etc.) or travel subsidy if you drive your own vehicle.

Is this an event for only cisgender women?

While we create a community, we welcome all BIPOC women, gender diverse or Two Spirit people.
