This training is designed for Tier 2 & 3 System Navigators in the community. It will introduce them to the concepts and components of the Lethbridge ICA System, focusing on foundational skills, common terminology used in the system, as well as the tools and resources are available.
The session consists of lecture-based training as well as small group work and scenario-based training to give an idea of the people that we see looking for supports throughout the whole ICA network.
At this time, both Tier 2 and Tier 3 Navigators are being trained in the same session.

Note: System Navigators only need to take the Tier training that the organization has identified, i.e. you don't need to take Tier 1 SN training before you take Tier 2 SN training.
To be fully certified, Tier 2 & 3 System Navigators also need to take the appropriate Priority Population & Cultural Safety Training
