    Join us for our Community of Practice Sessions to co-design the Toronto Impact Initiative Social Finance Fund!


    The Toronto Impact Initiative is an innovative project aimed at building social capital in our communities. We work with entrepreneurs, social innovators, and businesses often overlooked by mainstream finance.

    The Community of Practice Sessions (COP) are the next step in our collaborative process. Join all four sessions to help us shape the fund!

    Registration

    To register, select the dates you wish to attend and reserve your spot. While attending all four sessions is ideal, you are welcome to join as many as you can.

    All Zoom invites, reminders, and session recordings will be sent to registrants.

    COP Session 1

    • What is social finance? Is it for me?

    COP Session 2

    June 19, 2024 | 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM


    • What are the key investment principles of the fund to ensure BIPOC and other traditionally overlooked communities are involved and counted?
    • We will identify some of the local community and business needs that require targeted investments.


    COP Session 3

    July 10, 2024 |1:00 PM - 2:30 PM | Online

    • Let’s talk about the community governance of the fund.
    • We will discuss investment committees and community investment selection criteria.

    COP Session 4

    July 24, 2024 |1:00 PM - 2:30 PM | Online


    • We present the culmination of the 3 prior sessions including all the important community components of the Toronto Impact Initiative Social Finance Fund.
