Local wine lovers David and Jennifer are back with bottles that need tasting!
Please join them at the TBCA Clubhouse to swirl, sniff and sip your way to new wine knowledge, wine friends and maybe even a wine shopping list.
As some of you may remember, David Smith and Jennifer Strutt are both avid wine tasters and travellers. They strive to bring interesting information, tips and techniques along with delicious wines that you will (hopefully) want to add to your rotation at home.
All sessions are intended to be educational and no previous wine tasting experience is needed.
Ticket price includes tasting portions of 6 wines per session accompanied by generous wine-paired nibblies.
Sessions will be capped at 20 participants each, so please, get your tickets early!
Saturday May 11: The (great value) Wines You Never Knew
If you need relief on your wine budget or just like to blow your friends' minds with how little you spent, it's time you were introduced to some lesser known grape varieties that are as easy on the palate as they are on your wallet. You will be guided through a fun and informative tasting of three white and three red wines folowed by some generous nibblies to see how these bottles can taste even better with a food pairing.
Saturday May 25: Hola/Hello! Meet the Wines of Spain
Spanish wines present a palate-cleansing change of pace to the Cab Savs and Pinot Grigios in your life and offer good value to boot. We will taste three white and three red wines from a variety of Spanish wine regions. Some light, well-paired Spanish dishes will help underscore how food-friendly Spanish wines really are.
Saturday June 8: The Wines of Summer
Explore the rainbow wines of summer as we sip our way through four Rosé and two Orange (yes, Orange) wines. Last year's Rosé tasting was a suprise to many and this year we will again tempt tastebuds with a variety of flavour profiles and price points. Thoughtful food pairings will make for a light meal on the deck as we enjoy a late spring sunset (weather permitting :-)).

Due to the limited availabilty of tickets, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds.
Two volunteers are required for each of the three sessions. You will earn one hour of volunteer time and a 15% discount off of your wine tasting ticket. Please contact us via TBCA on Eventbrite to request a volunteer spot.
