About this event

Behaviour Consultation and Intervention Services presents the following Fall Caregiver Empowerment Workshops. Attend a session to learn about a variety of topics to support your child or youth’s behaviour and learning. Workshops will include presentation of information, small group discussion and problem solving, as well as a chance to connect with other caregivers. These events are designed for adult caregivers only.

Concurrent child programming will be run by Behaviour Interventionists. There will be 10 child program spots per session available for sign up on a first-come-first-served basis (select "Child Program" add-on).


Understanding and Responding to Concerning Behaviors from a Stress Response Perspective

Who: Caregivers of school-aged children and youth ages 6 and over.

What: This 3-part workshop will help caregivers understand their child’s concerning behaviors from a stress response perspective. Caregivers will learn about why children lose control of their emotions as well as how to respond and support their child with healthy coping strategies.

When: Saturday June 1, June 8, and June 15 10:00 -12:00
