4 gifted songwriters, 1 intimate evening. At Tracadie Community Center, join Emilea May, Lucy Farrell, Kellie Loder and Abigail Lapell for a captivating songwriters circle. Island songstress Emilea May has music in her genes and brings tender folk melodies and deep lyricism to the stage. Kent-born, PEI based songwriter Lucy Farrell tours frequently overseas and is a former BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner, known for her unconventional melodies and poetic, sophisticated songwriting. Newfoundland’s Kellie Loder made waves as runner-up on ‘Canada’s Got Talent’ and has since been entertaining fans across the country. The 2023 ECMA Songwriter of the Year will have you laughing, crying, and everything in between. Rounding out the song circle, Abigail Lapell is a Toronto based artist who has garnered 2 Canadian Folk Music Awards and a #1 song on Canadian Folk radio with her powerhouse vocals and songs that ‘stop you in your tracks’. It’s a jam-packed night of talent in Tracadie.
